"When I'm on the go, the easiest way for me to feel centered is by meditating. Oftentimes meditation leads to sleep for me and it's just so relaxing. So even if I can't make it to the gym, I just figure out ways to fit that quiet time into my day.
I knew I wanted to practice meditation after I had my son and even during my pregnancy. Just knowing after he was born that everything would be about him, I really needed to carve some time out of my day for myself and I still do. I also love that it helps me sleep better. Sometimes when you fall asleep you're thinking about a million different things and meditation really helps to give you a focus. Once you're centered, you doze off so quickly and it's awesome."
