Popsugar Fitness Insomnia Banana Tea as Natural Sleep Aid People Swear by This Easy, Unexpected Tea Recipe as an Insomnia Remedy May 20, 2017 by Brinton Parker First Published: May 17, 2017 View On One Page Photo 4 of 6 ADVERTISEMENT () Start Slideshow Making some banana tea before bed to knock me out tonight 👌🏼👌🏼 Banana skin is actually high in #magnesium so if you boil a banana in hot water you can actually extract it and drink it 👀. What I do is I heat 12 oz of water, take a banana and wash it (make sure it's organic, you don't want to be drinking a pool of pesticides 😝) then cut the ends off and cut it in half. Once the water is boiling drop the banana in and let it sit for 4 minutes. Then shut the heat off, take the banana out, either throw it out or eat it (I like to sprinkle Cinnamon on it and eat it on the spot) then pour the water into a mug. You can drink it like that or you can add some honey or cinnamon. I add cinnamon and coconut milk to mine. It tastes great and relaxes me 😴😴😴 #bananatea #sleep #relax #chill #unwind #cinnamon #coconutmilk #extraction #sleepy #knockmeout A post shared by Julio Reyes (@hoo_lee_oh) on Apr 29, 2017 at 9:16pm PDT Share This Link Copy ← Use Arrow Keys → 4 Previous Next Start Slideshow InsomniaHealthy LivingSleepBananasAlternative MedicineFruitsTea
