This is a real picture of three of my friends and me crossing the finish line at the Big Sur Marathon in April 2017, and it's one of the happiest moments of my running career. Sure, we relied on a lot of gear and fuel and advice to get us ready to run this race and ultimately cross the finish line, but there was no greater gift than sharing the experience together.
