Meal prep I always get really excited when I get to meal prep on the grill. So here are some quick tips for meal prep, especially since summer is quickly approaching! 1. Cook what you like. -- if you're spending that extra hour on Sunday to meal prep, you might as well make Foods you like so your willing to eat your leftovers during the week! 2. Calculate how much your going to need & double if you need too! -- this way you know how much to cook & buy. This will also help you if you want to make a mid week grocery run! 3. Don't try to make a different meal everyday. -- cook proteins, vegetables , and carbs that are versatile that can be eaten and made several different ways--- this is where you gotta be creative! 4. Write out a meal prep plan! -- you've got this💪🏽 5. Plan out your snacks! -- snacks shouldn't consist of more than 200 calories & should be light This meal prep consisted of grilled chicken, squash and asparagus! I've been slowly incorporating the grill because of the nice weather. Don't let the BBQ sauce fool you either, it's 100% NC BBQ sauce (vinegar based). ALSO- for those who have been asking about how much I spend for groceries. I always try to shop during sales & try to shop strategically. I typically spend $50.00 every 2-3 weeks & this includes all of my staple items (chicken, veggies & fruit). Throw a bunch of veggies and lean chicken on the grill and you'll have lunches packed in no time.
