Staley is a Hall of Fame basketball player and three-time Olympic gold medalist (1996, 2000, and 2004). She is the current head coach for the South Carolina Gamecocks. Furthermore, she made history earlier this year when she became the first head coach in college basketball to win both the Naismith Coach of the Year and Naismith Player of the Year award.
