Ever since I started wearing masks back in March, I've been trying out different brands to find the perfect fit. I've probably tried eight or more and have finally found a mask I love for both casual wearing and working out. These face masks by Carve Designs ($8) are made with their signature swimwear fabric, which is lightweight, stretchy, smooth, and breathable. There is also a super soft inner white liner, so it has two layers. I love the comfortable, snug fit, plus they don't hurt the backs of my ears, even after a few hours of wear.

These masks are not only affordable ($8!), but they've passed the test in my book while wearing while exercising. I've road biked, hiked, and ran with these masks, and did notice that even while huffing and puffing hard, it was easier to breathe with this mask on. However, I did notice that some air was able to escape out the sides while I was breathing hard when exercising, so I wouldn't recommend exercising super close to anyone for an extended period of time while wearing these (I don't have to worry about that since I'm working out alone outside).

These non-medical grade face masks wash well and come in tons of different prints whether you want something fun, vibrant, bold, or neutral. Keep reading to see all the different colors and patterns — many are Hawaiian-inspired. I have the first three, but plan to order more because they're so amazing! I still don't love working out in a mask, but I know how important it is. I actually look forward to wearing these, so that should tell you how great they are! If you love these designs, you can get swimwear to match!
