What Trisha says: "For me, it's not Summer without pork ribs. That is my thing. When I was growing up, my aunt and uncle used to make ribs every Fourth of July, and good ribs just bring me right back. I always season them with a rub and then finish them with a sauce that combines savory and sweet."
What's important to note: The Applewood Molasses Rub contains applewood smoked sea salt. I've bought some from Williams-Sonoma in the past and it's one of the easiest ways to add smoked flavor to foods without cooking it in a smoker! Fun fact: her original rub recipe calls for soy sauce to add a savory touch to the mix.
