This year will always be remembered as the year Emma Watson graced us with the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast and Disneyland celebrated 50 years of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Disneyland's Tower of Terror attraction received a Guardians of the Galaxy revamp, and Pandora's World of Avatar opened up at Disney World. All of these park happenings are just the half of it! Both Disney World and Disneyland unveiled new food and drink offerings that made us scramble for park entry. Take a look at our ranking of some of the year's best, many of which you can still get your hungry paws on.

Sparkling Lightsaber Churros

If you're about to engage in a lightsaber battle, you'll want to do it with these sparkling churros found at Disneyland (or at Disney World's Hollywood Studios). Though they look amazing, especially on your Instagram account, let it be known that the edible glitter tastes horrible. We had the same experience when trying the blackberry beignets, which are also coated in the colorful, shimmery dust.

Disneyland's Jungle Julep

The latest slush to hit Disneyland is the Jungle Julep, found in the new Bengal Barbecue dining area. Slurp down one of these fruity tropical drinks while charging your phone (or cooling down in the AC).

Enchanted Rose Cake

Enchanted Rose Cake

Amorette's Patisserie at Disney World unveiled this Enchanted Rose Cake ahead of the Beauty and the Beast release. Treat yourself to one when you're visiting the park. The spongy cake, buttercream frosting, and gel coating are worth every calorie.

Chewbacca Cupcakes

Chewbacca Cupcakes

Anyone who has seen Star Wars can't help but feel fondly for Chewie, which may have prompted the Contemporary Resort in Disney World to create these chocolaty, "hairy" Chewbacca cupcakes. They are filled with a white chocolate pudding for extra richness and have quickly become a fan favorite.

Disneyland's "Grey Stuff"

Disneyland's "Grey Stuff"

Be Our Guest restaurant serves a "Grey Stuff" cupcake, but at Disneyland's new Red Rose Taverne, you can find a biscuit cookie filled with red velvet cake and topped with gray cookies-and-cream frosting. It looks just like the "grey stuff" in the animated Beauty and the Beast film. Yes, waiting an hour in line for the "Grey Stuff" is worth it.

Pineapple Cotton Candy

Pineapple Cotton Candy

If pineapple soft serve and cotton candy had a baby, this dessert (found at Disneyland's California Adventures) would be it. It tastes exactly like the Tiki Room dessert, but in an airy cotton candy form.

The Rose Cup

The Rose Cup

Who knew this little Rose Cup with a domed top would become a viral success, selling out within days at both Disneyland and Disney World? As of this Summer, you can find it stocked in Disney Stores. Call and check locations near you!

A few other themed cups also made splashes in 2017. Honorable mentions go to the It's a Small World tumbler and The Pirates of the Caribbean mug.

S'mores Churros

S'mores Churros

Disneyland's Churro Cart in New Orleans Square is now serving up S'mores Churros! The churro is coated in actual graham cracker dust and comes with a side of marshmallow-chocolate dipping sauce. We recommend trying these s'more churros and drinking any leftover sauce straight from the cup.

Baby Groot Goodies

Baby Groot Goodies

With the arrival of the refurbished Tower of Terror came a brand-new Guardians of the Galaxy menu, with themed foods available at both Disneyland (like the Baby Groot bread, as pictured) and Disney World (like the Baby Groot cupcake).

Food at Pandora, World of Avatar

Food at Pandora, World of Avatar

All the boba-topped foods at Disney World's Pandora World of Avatar look Instagrammable, but how do they taste? Almost everything from the new park is exceptional and worth the splurge. The pineapple lumpia is a hit as well as the veggie steam buns and this frozen nonalcoholic beverage known as the Night Blossom. It tastes like a very sweet, candy-flavored smoothie garnished with popping boba.
