Breakfast is about to get a whole lot sweeter, thanks to Kellogg's. The food brand just revealed that its Eggo Waffle Cereal is making a comeback after an agonizing seven-year hiatus, and something tells me Eleven from Stranger Things is doing a happy dance over in Hawkins to celebrate. Starting Nov. 24, the nostalgic morning treat will be available at Walmart stores in two new flavors: Maple Flavored Homestyle and Blueberry. No judgement if you feel compelled to drizzle a bit of syrup on top of your bowl before devouring it.

What sparked this out-of-the-blue return to shelves so many years later, you ask? A seemingly random fan tweet did, actually. Back in July, a Twitter user named Annie mentioned the Eggo handle imploring the brand to bring back its bite-sized waffle cereal in the OG Maple Syrup flavor. Eggo shared her message with its followers and declared that her wish would be their command if it received 10,000 retweets. Not-so-surprisingly, it raked in the necessary retweets, proving that the "ask and ye shall receive" tactic does work after all. Now please excuse me while I incessantly tweet at tons of candy and cereal companies begging them to bring back more of my childhood faves.
