Between fuzzy ghost blankets and cozy pillows, this Halloween is shaping up to be scary cute. Ahead of the beloved holiday, Michaels released a new Sweet & Spooky Halloween decor collection packed with pastel Halloween decorations that are adorable enough to leave up all year long. We're talking tabletop decor inspired by witches and skeletons, plates embossed with spiderwebs, sparkling wine glasses, and living room accessories in whimsical shades of lavender and blush.

Following the Barbie effect, which has everyone obsessed with the color pink, I couldn't help but be intrigued by the soft take on an otherwise spooky holiday. I'm definitely a fan of traditional gothic candelabras, vampiric wall decor, and adornments that make me question whether I've stepped into a haunted house. This year, though, Halloween feels a little softer, and these decorations absolutely fit the vibe. Curious, I stepped into my local Michaels and was greeted by walls of accessories in lilac, bubblegum, and cornflower blue. Resisting the urge to throw everything in my basket immediately, I examined the collection closer.

In addition to the enchanting color palette and playful lettering, the Halloween decor features subtle hints of spookiness. From a spider carefully placed on a pink cookie jar to a "crystal ball" filled with star-shaped confetti, every item had me ready to redecorate my apartment. For those on board with the ghost decor trend, the line also features a ghostly block calendar, haunting table toppers, and more decor to show your Halloween spirit.

As Halloween inches closer, eager fans have already gotten their hands on the Sweet & Spooky line. "I'll take the whole section," one shopper commented on TikTok. Another TikTok user added, "FINALLY something other than black and orange but still spooky." Because the pastel colors work so well in spring, some shoppers even plan to reuse the Halloween decor during Easter and the following months.

The new Halloween decorations are available to shop in stores and online, and some of the more popular items — including the spiderweb plates — are selling out fast. Ahead of the holiday, Michaels has discounted the entire collection, which means most products are available for under $15. Not that I needed another reason to dip into my Halloween budget, but these adorable decor items will definitely have a spot in my home this year.

Take a sneak peek at Michaels's Sweet & Spooky Halloween collection ahead, and shop some of the sweetest pieces to get in the Halloween spirit.
