Why Demi Lovato Deserves to Win a Grammy
10 Reasons Demi Lovato Deserves the Grammy For Best Pop Vocal Album
Demi Lovato has finally gotten what she's worked so hard for — a Grammy nomination. The 23-year-old songstress's album Confident was nominated for best pop vocal album for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, airing on Feb. 12, 2017.
In an interview with Complex last year, Demi explained how much a Grammy nomination would mean to her. "Everything in my entire singing career — all of the guitar lessons, all of the voice lessons, all of the songs that I wrote when I was 8 years old, when I was 15, writing six songs a night, all of the touring — would be worth it."
She expressed her excitement about the news on Twitter the day the nominations were announced.
Woke up to the most amazing news EVER!!!!!!! Wow... thank you SO MUCH to @RecordingAcad!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😭 #GrammyNominations
