Donald Trump's Comments About 2017 Oscars

In True Form, Trump Is Making the Oscars Best Picture Fail All About Him

President Donald Trump finally spoke out about this year's Oscars that ended with Moonlight taking home the best picture award after La La Land had initially been declared the winner.

"I think they were focused so hard on politics that they didn't get the act together at the end. It was a little sad," he said about the show in an interview with Breitbart. "It took away from the glamour of the Oscars. It didn't feel like a very glamorous evening. I've been to the Oscars. There was something very special missing, and then to end that way was sad."

Trump was likely referring to the powerful speeches, ACLU ribbons, and Jimmy Kimmel jokes throughout the night that targeted his poorly rated presidency.
