Kate Middleton wore sneakers and jeans to brave the London rain for a shopping trip on Tuesday. She carried her own bags as she made her way to a car after a visit to a home store. Perhaps pregnant Kate was shopping for her new home, Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace, where she and Prince William will move into this Fall. Will and Kate will not go at it alone since they recently hired Antonella Fresolone, a former housekeeper for Queen Elizabeth II, to help them with running their new household.

Kate joined Prince William at a wedding on Saturday to watch pals William van Cutsem and Rosie Ruck Keene tie the knot in a small town in South Oxfordshire. Kate reportedly recycled her polka-dot Topshop dress, which she wore to a Warner Bros. Studios tour last month, to wear to the wedding.

The royal baby watch is officially kicking into high gear as Kate Middleton nears her reported July due date. But if the idea of waiting two more months to be surrounded by all things royal baby seems too long, then look to London's Grosvenor House. The hotel, along with Dragons of Walton Street, has transformed one of its Premium Park View Suites into the "Suite Dreams" nursery, a quintessentially British room filled with bespoke, handcrafted, and hand-painted nursery furnishings inspired by the hotel's rich history and idyllic views of Hyde Park.

Dragons of Walton Street is no stranger to royal nurseries. The Mayfair-based shop was the decorator of choice for Prince William's, Prince Harry's, and their cousins Princess Beatrice's and Princess Eugenie's nurseries. While in London for the Cybex by Jeremy Scott launch event, I visited the quaint store and saw its beautiful designs firsthand — including the exclusive license for Beatrix Potter. They're nothing short of exquisite. For this project, Dragons commissioned five different artists to create new artwork for the suite. The total price tag for all the furniture included in the suite would be a whopping $39,640!

Staying in the suite comes at a price too, as you can imagine. Of the three available packages, the Buckingham package is the most luxurious, featuring a three-night stay starting at $9,561 and including a full baby concierge service — pickup from the airport, an evening of child care, dinner for two at the hotel's steakhouse, a complimentary cut and blow dry at Sanrizz for moms, a shave at Alfred Dunhill for dads, a private consultation with Dragons of Walton Street, a private tour of Buckingham Palace, a personal shopping trip to Harrods, and use of a Balmoral Silver Cross Pram throughout your stay.

With Kate Middleton's baby bump finally showing, there comes a flurry of designers vying to dress her. And, according to WWD, they're more than willing to create custom maternity clothes for the expecting Duchess of Cambridge, too. Karl Lagerfeld, Nina Ricci, Vera Wang, and Donna Karan were among the designers to submit exclusive sketches, supplying a cool mix of daytime looks and more royally geared evening gowns, all tailored to highlight her bump.

To date, Middleton hasn't exactly been the poster child for wearing maternity clothes, having only worn one Topshop maternity outfit since her pregnancy was announced last year. Instead, she has opted to recycle her preexisting wardrobe with looks from Erdem, Mulberry, Armani, Max Mara, and Tara Jarmon — pieces that will remain wearable after the baby is born. Prince Harry is headed to America, this time skipping Vegas and instead opting for a more serious stay. On his royal trip that begins today and goes until May 15, the soldier prince will visit Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Arlington National Cemetery in DC, meet with Wounded Warrior veterans in Colorado, and tour areas damaged by Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey with Gov. Chris Christie. Harry's also making time for some socializing and will host a polo cup for his charity Sentebale in Greenwich, CT.

Prince Harry is also pulling the weight for his brother, as soon-to-be-parents Prince William and Kate Middleton are not taking an international royal tour this year. So far, royals have lodged fewer frequent-flier miles than 2012, the year of the queen's Diamond Jubilee. All the major royals traveled overseas to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 60 years on the throne. Prince William and his wife, Kate, took the British royal family show on the road for a nine-day tour of the Far East, while Prince Harry did his part paying a visit to countries in Central America and the Caribbean on behalf of Her Majesty.
