Stella McCartney got major star support at her Spring 2014 collection presentation at Jefferson Market in NYC yesterday.

Stella McCartney got major star support at her Spring 2014 collection presentation at Jefferson Market in NYC yesterday. Cameron Diaz, who is a close friend of the designer, stepped out for the garden party alongside other fashionable faces such as Naomi Watts, Julianne Moore, and Anna Wintour. Madonna and Amy Poehler also showed their love for Stella, sharing hugs and snapping selfies during the fashionable soiree that withstood the NYC rain. Also on hand to check out the designer's Spring designs were Kate Bosworth, who was accompanied by her fiancé, Michael Polish, and Liv Tyler, who had her dad, Steven Tyler, by her side. Kate and Michael even shared a bit of romantic time during the event, which she revealed on her Twitter account. She captured a picture hugging her beau with the caption, "Loved up with Michael Polish at the Stella McCartney party today."

Since Cameron has been stationed in NYC for her latest project, she was able to show her love and support for her longtime friend Stella, whose designs she wore along with Kristen Stewart at the Met Gala last month. Cameron has been busy on the Big Apple set of her new film, The Other Woman, but she headed East to the nearby Hamptons for a fun day of shooting last week. Cameron showed off her legs in a short sweater and let loose with a glass of wine while filming scenes with her costar Taylor Kinney in the beach community.

The third annual Critics' Choice Television Awards presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association were held at the Beverly Hilton in LA on Monday night to honor small-screen achievements. A whole host of stars and series were up for awards, and the big winners of the night included Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones — which tied for best drama — and presenter Kaley Cuoco's Big Bang Theory. The show won for best comedy, and Kaley also picked up best supporting actress in a comedy for her role on the CBS hit. Veep's Julia Louis-Dreyfus took home the top spot over Amy Poehler, Lena Dunham, Zooey Deschanel, and others in the best actress in a comedy category. Elisabeth Moss was nominated for Mad Men and won a statuette for her work in the miniseries Top of the Lake. Diane Kruger was on hand in a Nina Ricci dress, and Malin Akerman make her second red carpet appearance since welcoming her son, Sebastian, in April. There were plenty more TV stars on hand for the award ceremony, and we were on the red carpet, so stay tuned for more from the big event!

LC Talks Boyfriend William Tell and Leaving Party Life Behind

Lauren Conrad struck a sexy pose in a midriff-baring top for Marie Claire's July 2013 issue, which hits newsstands on June 18.

Lauren Conrad struck a sexy pose in a midriff-baring top for Marie Claire's July 2013 issue, which hits newsstands on June 18. The one-time MTV reality star has moved on from late nights in LA to pursue her career in what has now turned into her own fashion empire. The road beyond her small-screen fame hasn't always been easy, though, and she spoke candidly about dealing with her critics, as well as the difficulty of getting her own story told. Aside from the perils of life in the spotlight, she's found stability in her boyfriend, William Tell, whom she began dating in February 2012, and inside the pages opened up about why their relationship works. Here are the highlights from Lauren Conrad in Marie Claire:

  • On boyfriend William Tell: "He is very good for me because we have a lot in common as far as where we grew up. It's the first time I'm with someone and I'm not explaining things. He also has experience in the entertainment industry, so he understands a lot of things that people don't always get."
  • On telling her own story: "I only ever got to tell half of my story. People are very quick to judge these days, especially behind the anonymity of a screen name. It's very easy to say, 'I hate her, I hate what she wore, she seems mean.' But you're only seeing a small fraction of her life."
  • On leaving her party life behind: "It feels done for me. I'm OK with it being done . . . I destroyed my voice when I moved to LA. There are polyps all over my vocal chords because I was in a lot of loud places. If you listen to the first episode of Laguna, my voice is completely different."
