I'm not sure what is so difficult about eating food. First everything is good in moderation and the quality of the food is a lot better at Chipotle than other fast food joints. Every article I read about Chipotle being bad talks about the high fat content of burrito with guac but as long as you are avoiding Sour Cream much of the fat is good healthy fats. If you want a quick way to get your Chipotle Calorie Information then check out http://www.chipotlecaloriecalculator.com

mmm chipotle is good and healthy! Just split it in half and opt out of one or two of the high calorie ingredients. It always fills me up and keeps me energized.

6/8. I love Chipotle, but the portions are WAYYYYY too big. Even when I go and share with my boyfriend, I can't finish half of a vegetarian burrito. I get: Tortilla, Black Beans, Rice, salsa, a little bit of cheese, and guacamole. I LOVE their guacamole. Honestly though, overall the flavor isn't fantastic (the burrito as a whole).

I don't think Chipotle is that good....

but they're so delish :'( i used to get the burrito bol but it just wasn't as satisfying. now, i get the veggie with no sour cream and light cheese. i can usually only eat half of it so it makes me feel slighting better to consume a total of >1000 cals in 2 meals instead of 1 sitting

I usually get just one or two tacos - it's not on the menu but they will let you order individual tacos for 1/3 the price of the 3 tacos (which is the same price as one burrito). It is a great way to get my fix (and eat on the cheap)!

holy cow! even the veggie one still has a lot of calories. If you cut the dairy its a lot better. But that tortilla! holy cow, that's all I can say

I feel like it is pointless to get the rice and tortilla anyway as they are both empty calories (they would be great for you if they were brown rice and a whole wheat tortilla), whereas most of the other stuff (beans, chicken, fajitas, tomatoes, corn, guac) is not only not bad for you but they are GOOD for you. Sometimes, if I feel like I can't live without cheese and sour cream I'll go home and put my own lowfat versions on it but honestly if you top your salad or bowl with lots of veggies and guac, there is plenty of flavor without the cheese and sour cream :) p.s. i LOVE chipotle and I eat it about once a week ... just eat it slowly and watch portion

i always get the burrito bol with no rice, and get black beans, fajita veggies, chicken, tomato and corn salsa and guacamole. i think that's pretty healthy. cutting out the rice and tortilla cut out a lot of calories, as we have seen.

cdelphine - Chipotle CAN be healthy. Black beans, peppers & onions, romaine lettuce, fresh tomato salsa and avocado are all healthy foods. A lot of people see that the guacamole has 13 g of fat and they freak out, but in reality, only 2 grams of it is saturated fat.

uh, the fresh tomato salsa and the red tomatillo are not the same thing.... the fresh tomato is only 20 calories, while the hot salsa (red tomatillo) is 40. just an fyi. fajitas and fresh tomato are two of the best things to get, each are only 20 calories. and if you just order a single taco, the taco tortilla is only 90 calories. who can eat a massive burrito in one sitting anyway?

I think that people get upset over Chipotle nutrition info because, for some reason, many people think burrito = not typical burgers and fries fast food = healthy. Same thing with Panera. It's amazing to me how little most people know about nutrition. Also, a couple people were wondering about their Chipotle stats - Chipotle has really detailed nutrition info available. It's hard to find on the website but if you google "chipotle nutrition information" it comes up first. There are also other websites that have burrito builders to do the math for you so you don't have to get out your calculator ;)

I order a veggie burrito without rice and sour cream, easy on the cheese. And I ask for more bell peppers and salsa to make up for the flavor loss. I also only eat half for a meal.

by the way, these days, everything is unhealthy for you, everything "kills you," but we were put here for other reasons than to worry too much! don't get in those panic modes if you overindulge, it's alright! we are here to laugh and smile and be free, nobody should be attacked for eating a burrito, and if you are, just choose a different location next time =)

I tend to get the bowl and eat half one day and half the other day. My bf can eat a whole one (w/tortilla) in one sitting (but doesn't get sour cream or cheese as he isn't a huge fan).

Oh man, my boss eats two of those things (loaded) in one meal.

8/8! Granted, i never eat the burrito. I get the bol without cheese, guac or sour cream. chipotle isn't unhealthy, it's the quantity of it you eat. All their meat is natural and farm-raised. Moderation is the key.
