If you're as obsessed with lavender-flavored drinks as we are, then get excited — this kombucha is BEYOND.

We love the health benefits of lavender, and the relaxing effect it can have on stress and anxiety. Some studies show promise that lavender may even have a calming effect on more severe neurological disorders, and that with more research, it could be used in more types of medication.

Beyond the calming benefits, lavender also tastes great in teas, lattes, infused waters, lemonade . . . and kombucha!

We got to try the KeVita Lavender Melon Kombucha flavor, which is certified organic with live probiotics (4 billion CFUs) and organic caffeine. At 70 calories (with no added sugar), a bottle of this bubbly brew will give you 100 percent of your vitamin C as well as 40 percent of your B1, B2, B3, B6, and B12 vitamins and folic acid for the day.

Typically in any taste test, responses are all over the map, but this flavor was universally appreciated, as the lavender isn't super overpowering, giving just the right amount of herbaceous, soothing flavor. Collectively, everyone was in accord about the mildness, and one editor said, "My favorite flavor combo; I'm trying to re-create it with my home-brew!"

Delicately sweet, slightly citrusy, and effervescent, this kombucha makes for a perfect beginner's brew (or gateway kombucha, if you will), as it's not overly pungent or vinegary in taste.
