14 Reasons Amy Schumer Is Having the Best Year Ever

Amy really turned it out for this year's MTV Movie Awards. She had more than a couple hilarious teasers, and her comedy bits during the show were just as funny.

Amy's comedy with Judd Apatow was a huge box office success, and it's not hard to see why. It featured a ton of comedians, and Tilda Swinton shocked us all. Even LeBron James stole the show in every scene he was in.

We already talked about Amy's hilarious monologue — and the nod to Bradley Cooper therein — but that wasn't the only part we loved about the episode. Amy also killed it in all of her skits, including that amazing "Porn Teacher" sketch.

Amy nabbed an Emmy for her show, Inside Amy Schumer, and even her acceptance speech was hilarious in its own right.

Amy stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show back in April to promote Trainwreck, but it may as well have been a mini stand-up set. Ellen barely gets a word in edgewise, half because Amy is whipping out joke after joke, and half because she's cracking up at every single one.

There was an amazing, brilliant formula that secured Inside Amy Schumer an Emmy this year. Not only did it have the star-power of the likes of Tina Fey and Julia Louis Dreyfus, but it tackled media misogyny, poked fun at Disney, and even had its own bonafide boy band hit.

After a gunman opened fire at a showing of Trainwreck in Louisiana, Amy Schumer not only tweeted about the incident, but also took action. She joined forces with her cousin, Senator Chuck Schumer, to speak out in favor of gun control.

It wasn't enough to have Tina Fey in a sketch on Inside Amy Schumer, because the two totally made out at the Peabody Awards in June. If making out with Tina isn't a highlight of Amy's year, we don't know what is.

Amy made a surprise appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show during the premiere week in NYC! The best part is, she invited Hillary Clinton to go rollerskating.

Amy was fortunate enough to be a guest at the Time 100 gala, and it's clear she made the most of it. The best part might be when she pranked Kim and Kanye on the red carpet, by purposely falling in front of them.

Another installment in Amy's beautiful friendship with Jennifer Lawrence was their night at a Billy Joel concert back in August. They even got to dance on top of the piano together!
