It was recently reported that the younger members of the royal family have significantly increased their workload this year — and it seems like we will be seeing even more of them over the coming months. Although William is still on the payroll as an Air Ambulance pilot, Kate is a hands-on mom, and Harry has spent the last month in Africa working on conservation and AIDS projects, the trio have been taking on even more royal engagements in 2016 — and there are even more to come!

Kate welcomed in last year pregnant with Princess Charlotte and took four months maternity leave, easing herself back into work with a trip to the Anna Freud Centre in September. Fast forward a year and the duchess has so far undertaken 73 royal engagements in 2016 — more than double the amount she performed in the same amount of time last year.

On Feb. 24, Kate headed to Edinburgh for three engagements in a day — a school with her charity Place2Be, the Edinburgh branch of charity organization The Art Room, and a tennis workshop with Judy Murray.

On May 4, Kate clocked up another three engagements in one day: opening a children's play area in Hampton Court before heading to London for an event supporting the work of the Anna Freud Centre, while in the evening she was at the National Portrait Gallery to view photographs from her recent Vogue shoot.

Kate racked up a massive run of engagements in June, including eight in seven days — going from a Sportsaid dinner on the 9th to the queen's 90th birthday service of Thanksgiving on the 10th, Trooping the Colour on the 11th, the Patron's Lunch on the 12th, Garter Day on the 13th, and signing the condolence book for the Orlando shootings on the morning of the 14th before flying to Northern Ireland for an annual garden party.

William has performed over 90 engagements and counting this year — which is already up over 30 percent from last year. As well as being involved with military events including a trip to recognize the British military in Dusseldorf, William had focused on mental health awareness, antibullying campaigns, conservation, and LGBTQ issues.

Harry has performed over 80 engagements this year, which is up over 50 percent from last year. He has focused predominantly on the military, conservation, and AIDS awareness, taking a live HIV test on Facebook in July.

It's not just the royal trio who have been doing more — Prince George appeared at his first UK engagement when he popped up at the Royal International Air Tattoo.

William, Kate, and Harry also attended every event relating to the queen's 90th birthday. Back in 2012, they attended three of her official Diamond Jubilee celebrations, but this year they were there for the horse show, the church service, Trooping the Colour, and the Patron's Lunch.

They have all been traveling a lot more this year too. Harry embarked on a royal tour of Nepal in March and April, attended the Invictus Games in Miami, launched the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto, and spent the Summer in South Africa and Lesotho focusing on conservation work and his charity Sentebale. He also spent two days in France attending events with William and Kate to commemorate the centenary of the battle of the Somme.

William and Kate's main travel this year was their Spring tour to India and Bhutan, covering 24 engagements in six days. Many thought they were done for the year, but of course they are now heading to Canada later this month — this time with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. So far the Cambridges have toured Canada and LA in 2011; Singapore, Malaysia, Solomon Islands, and Tuvalu in 2012; Australia and New Zealand in 2014; and India and Bhutan in 2016. Undertaking two tours in a year is unprecedented for the royal couple, but we can't wait to see more!
