He's a scary, scary badass.

In the comics, Negan is about as bad as villains get. His trademark? He carries a bat wrapped in barbed wire named Lucille, which he beats people to death with. If you're thinking maybe they'll dull the character down for TV, think again. "The character itself is going to be as close as humanly possible," Morgan told Entertainment Weekly.

His presence doesn't bode well for Glenn.

Poor Glenn very narrowly escapes death in the first half of season six, but does he survive just so he can get brutally murdered by Negan? In the comics, it's Negan who beats Glenn to death with Lucille. While we don't know whether this will happen on the show for sure, the cast recently said that the season six finale is horrifying. "[Hearing] the word 'finale' gives me a physical reaction because it's the hardest day on set that I've ever had in my life," said Lauren Cohan, who plays Glenn's love interest, Maggie. "I never even imagined that, as an actor, you could have that experience. It's one of the most raw experiences that I think any of us have ever had. Andy [Lincoln] talks about being late to work; I didn't want to go to work that day. It took a really, really long time for everybody to feel OK again after the finale, let's put it that way." There are also a ton of other reasons we think Glenn will die.
