9 Reasons The Bachelor's Ridiculous Virginity Storyline Is Played Out

Have you been watching The Bachelor since 2006? If so, you might remember Sadie, the first person to disclose that she was a virgin on the franchise. She later said that it didn't matter to Prince Lorenzo Borghese, but more so to the show. "You don't realize that will be your only storyline when you're giving the one-on-one interviews," she told The Washington Post.

Sadie made it all the way to the final two on season four, but Lorenzo ultimately went with Jennifer Wilson. However, they broke up and Lorenzo dated Sadie for a while.

We didn't get to know much about Alexis since Andy Baldwin sent her home early on. However, we did know that she was a virgin.

"If the worst thing that they can do is show that I'm some moral, virtuous, religious girl then I'm fine with that," Alexis said in an interview. "I feel like I escaped pretty unscathed . . . there's worst reputations they could have assigned to me than that."

Ryan appeared on season four of The Bachelorette with DeAnna Pappas, and he revealed he was saving himself for marriage. The former NFL player also appeared on Bachelor Pad.

Corrie didn't exactly get to choose the timing when telling Jake Pavelka her virginity status on season 14. He asked her if she was saving herself for marriage, and she was honest.

Although she didn't make it to the Fantasy Suites, Corrie said that she was not going to go and wasn't going to compromise on that. "That was something he needed, not necessarily to have sex, but to advance our relationship," she said. "But no one knows what goes on behind closed doors, and I felt like that would be saying one thing and doing another. But I don't think he let me go because I was a virgin."

OK, so Sean wasn't exactly a virgin when he competed for Emily Maynard's heart or when he found love on his own season of The Bachelor. However, he had been celibate before going on either season, so he was dubbed the born-again virgin. When it was time for his Fantasy Suites, a big question was whether he would have sex with any of the women, a speculation that he found "annoying and tiring."

Now Sean is married to Catherine Giudici, to whom he gave his final rose, and they have two sons together. So that should clear up any lingering questions you may have.

Becca's virginity was a topic of discussion during her time on both Chris Soules's and Ben Higgins's seasons. After neither relationship worked out, she went on to date Bachelor franchise alum Robert Graham. Sadly, they didn't last. Becca has said that she's waiting for marriage to lose her virginity, so we're guessing that's still the case since there isn't a ring on her finger.

It took a lot of tears on Chris Soules's season of The Bachelor, two seasons of Bachelor in Paradise, and a season of The Bachelor Winter Games for Ashley I. to get to where she is now. She dated Kevin Wendt from the last show for a few months, but wouldn't answer whether she was still a virgin or not. And although she loves a good makeout sesh, her fiancé Jared Haibon is keeping his lips sealed about their sex life these days.

You may have been too focused on Christen's "Scallop Fingers" nickname to even realize she mentioned that she's a virgin. She competed for Nick Viall's heart on season 21 and went on to Bachelor in Paradise season four, where she got the infamous nickname. You may have even caught her on The Proposal, hosted by Bachelor alum Jesse Palmer, where she could have been proposed to on the spot.

Of course, we had to mention the first-ever virgin Bachelor. Colton revealed that he was a virgin to Becca Kufrin on season 14 of The Bachelorette. They didn't work out, but Colton went on to become the leading man on season 23. He said on the show that he isn't waiting for marriage, just for the situation to feel right. We'll have to see how that plays out when it's time for the Fantasy Suite dates.
