The "Obi-Wan Kenobi" Cast Gives Some Major Clues About the Disney+ Series

McGregor's return as Obi-Wan is one of the few pieces of information that we've had confirmed about the new limited series. He's had a pretty eclectic career over the past few decades, with iconic movies like "Moulin Rouge" alongside plenty of smaller indie roles. Most recently, he played an adult Christopher Robin in Disney's 2018 "Christopher Robin" and chewed the scenery as madcap villain Roman Sionis in "Birds of Prey." He also played the title role in Netflix's "Halston."

Christensen will return to play Anakin Skywalker 10 years after becoming Darth Vader. After bearing the brunt of criticisms for the polarizing Star Wars prequel trilogy, Christensen's career stalled out somewhere in the 2010s. He did, however, signal his willingness to return to the role of Anakin in two recent projects: he voiced the character in an episode of the animated "The Clone Wars" TV series, as well as in "The Rise of Skywalker."

Ingram got her big break in 2020 when she costarred as Jolene in the hit Netflix miniseries "The Queen's Gambit." Since then, she's caught the eye of some major Hollywood stars and projects — she appeared in "The Tragedy of Macbeth," a Shakespeare retelling that also starred Denzel Washington, Frances McDormand, Corey Hawkins, and "Queen's Gambit" costar Harry Melling.

In "Obi-Wan Kenobi," Ingram will play Reva, aka the Third Sister. Her character is described as "a ruthless, ambitious Inquisitor."

Fresh off filming Marvel's "Eternals," Nanjiani is joining another massive pop culture universe in a still-unknown role in "Obi-Wan Kenobi." He is, of course, much more than just another blockbuster actor. You know him from TV comedies like "Silicon Valley" and "Portlandia," as well as memorable movies like "The Big Sick."

You most likely recognize Kang from his role as Han in the Fast and Furious franchise, but he's done much more than that. He's appeared in a wide variety of TV shows, most recently in a recurring role as attorney John Mak on "Power." He will play another Inquisitor, the Fifth Brother.

Jackson has a particularly varied résumé — and this isn't even his first sci-fi project. He's starred in history-based dramas like "Straight Outta Compton" and "Just Mercy," as well as the monster flick "Godzilla: King of the Monsters." He also stars in the AppleTV+ series "Swagger," and will appear in the Elizabeth Banks movie "Cocaine Bear." We also don't know who he'll be playing in "Obi-Wan Kenobi."
