During a flash-forward, Rebecca is seen driving in the car alone with Jack's personal effects in a Ziplock bag in the passenger's seat. As she pulls up to their Pearson mailbox, the camera pulls out to reveal their burnt house. Not only is Mandy Moore's performance absolutely heartbreaking as she screams in the car, but Damien Rice's cover of U2's "One," which is about having "one love" and "one life," makes it even more bittersweet.
