The Easy Way to See the Scale Budge

Lack of sleep can cause a lot of issues with your day: irritability, higher stress levels, not being able to stay awake at your desk. But if you're trying to lose weight and constantly skipping out on a good night's rest, listen up: your nighttime habits may be why you can't make the scale budge. Studies have shown that people who are sleep deprived tend to crave higher-fat, greasier, and sugary comfort foods like ice cream and salty snacks. In fact, one study found that sleepy people eat 300 calories more than their well-rested counterparts. Another followed 1,000 sets of twins and found that the more sleep-deprived twins weighed more than their siblings.
