My bra size is a 32G, which is nowhere near average. My tiny rib cage and huge cup size make bra shopping frustrating — especially when it comes to sports bras. Typical sports bras sized XS to XL absolutely do not give women with larger busts enough support. It's also hard to find anything out there larger than a D cup, let alone paired with a small band size. After years of experimenting with ill-fitting bras, I now have a rotation of brands and styles that truly cater to women with big boobs. Whether I'm relaxing into child's pose during a hot yoga session, running a half marathon, or landing jumping squats in a HIIT class, I have a go-to bra for everything. Disclaimer: this bra does not come in my size, but I can still pull it off since it is sized to individual bra sizes. Since the line comes in a huge range of sizes, I wear my sister size in this bra and stick to low-impact workouts like yoga while wearing this one.
Anita High-Impact Sports Bra

As its name implies, it's better suited for high-impact workouts. I've worn this bra on long runs, in dance classes, and during Barry's Bootcamp, and felt supported and comfortable each time.

Never in a million years did I think I would be able to get my boobs into a Lululemon bra. I had serious envy — just look at it from behind! One thing seriously lacking in larger sports bras is style.
I was beyond thrilled to try on my sister size in this style and find that it fit. While I won't wear this for a high-impact class, it's my first choice for a session with my trainer, a long hike, or any other medium-impact workout. I love how it looks peeking out from a tank top, and appreciate its inclusive size range that carries in options in A-G cups.

Hands down, my ride-or-die. If I could only own one sports bra, this would be the obvious choice. Besides being incredibly comfortable, it performs in every single workout I've worn it in — whether that's running a half-marathon, backpacking through the woods, or a 45-minute Pilates session. Whatever the workout, I barely feel it on, but I know it's working. I love that it's also a convertible racerback style — something harder to come by in larger sizes.

This bra provides such incredible support without needing an underwire. I love how lightweight it is, and how dry it keeps me during sweaty Spin sessions. It's become my go-to for medium-impact workouts.
Wacoal Women's Underwire Sports Bra

Another great choice for a high-impact workout, this bra provides a tremendous amount of support, is super soft, and the encapsulated design keeps each breast secure and in its place. The only drawback of this bra is that there's a lot of material and the cut is high, so it's best worn with a t-shirt.
Chantelle High Impact Sports Bra

Chantelle makes my favorite everyday bra, so you can imagine how thrilled I was when it expanded into sports bras. This option is perfect for sweaty and intense circuit workouts. The wide bra straps are comfortable and don't dig into skin, which is the worst distraction during a workout.
