The Trailer For Embrace, an Upcoming Body-Positive Documentary, Will Bring You to Tears

After gaining weight postpregnancy, Taryn Brumfitt decided she was going to get in the best shape of her life. Once she did, however, she didn't gain the self-confidence she had imagined. That's when she decided to embark on a journey that would attempt to decipher the ongoing global obsession with attaining a certain body. That journey is the subject of Embrace.

Embrace is an upcoming documentary that was initially funded by Kickstarter. In it, Taryn speaks to other women who have struggled with their self-esteem in relation to their figures, as well as experts who shed light on body-image issues. Taryn had previously made headlines when she shared an unconventional before-and-after photo of herself that sparked a conversation about women's bodies post-pregnancy.
