The thick waistband fits snugly without feeling constrictive and there's a small zippered pocket in the back for my house key, but my absolute favorite feature is the mesh panels behind the knees that keep me cool. I have these in the deep purple, and I love the subtle wavy pattern that makes them unique, but not too wild to match with most of my solid-colored tops.
