This Is What CrossFit Star Katrin Davidsdottir Eats in a Day — Lots of Salad Ahead!

If you're into WOD-ing at your own CrossFit box or following the CrossFit Games, the name Katrin Davidsdottir will make you smile and get all giddy. The former gymnast and track athlete took 30th in her first Games appearance in 2012, after less than a year of CrossFit, and went on to amazingly take first place in both 2015 and 2016!

So what does The Fittest Woman on Earth from Iceland eat to stay strong and badass? She shared photos of her meals and snacks so you can see — they're healthy and filling, AND they look delicious.

Katrin told POPSUGAR, "Nutrition is very important to me. It's another piece of the training routine. I train hard and put a lot of focus on recovery; nutrition is part of that recovery. I've been working with a nutrition team and a meal prep company for some time now and focus on keeping my meals clean with lots of colorful veggies, lean meats, and no added sugars. I dial it in even more so close to competition to ensure I'm taking advantage of all the opportunities to be my best in the gym."

For breakfast, she eats a scramble . . .

  • coconut oil
  • cinnamon
  • salt and pepper
  • two egg whites and two whole eggs

. . . plus a side of oatmeal and a Mango Ginger Zevia Energy.
