Siggi's Is Going Plant-Based, and the 4 New Flavors Are Full of Protein and Low in Sugar

Major news for plant-based fans: Siggi's, the popular Icelandic yogurt brand, is entering the nondairy market with four fresh, plant-based flavors, which will be released around the US this month. The raspberry, vanilla cinnamon, mixed berries, and mango plant-based flavors are made from an all-natural, proprietary blend of coconut, macadamia, and pea protein. And to make things even more exciting, each cup comes packed with 10 grams of protein and no more than nine grams of sugar. According to the brand, that's three times more protein and 40 percent less sugar than most other nondairy yogurt alternatives.

The Icelandic yogurt (aka skyr) will be hitting grocery and retail locations as early as this week, depending on the chain and location, so keep your eyes peeled. In the meantime, check out each new flavor and its nutrition info ahead.
