Here's what the Organic Classic Oatmeal Cup looks like when you peel off the lid. If you look closely, you'll see whole flax seeds and tiny chia seeds. To be honest, I was hoping to see more, but you can always add more if you want.
Since this oatmeal is unsweetened, it tastes just how you'd expect — very plain with a tiny bit of texture from the seeds. The Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal Cup also tastes just as you'd expect — sweet with a subtle maple flavor.
Both cups tasted great with some healthy additions. I added fresh raspberries, slivered almonds, and cinnamon, but you could add other seeds, nuts or nut butter, fresh, frozen, or dried fruit, shredded coconut, protein powder, or a few chocolate chips.
