Do you dream about enlisting the Property Brothers to help redesign your home? Have you always wished that you could be on an episode of House Hunters? Or maybe all you want in life is for Joanna and Chip Gaines to help you renovate (honestly, same). While you may wonder just what those lucky people did to land a spot on your favorite HGTV shows, we're here to tell you that it's actually a lot easier than you might think. To make your dreams a reality, all you have to do is go to their casting page.

HGTV conveniently posts all casting calls for their shows on the "Be on HGTV" portion of their website. Here they have an extensive list of shows, both currently on air and upcoming, along with exactly what they're looking for. Some of the shows they're casting or have recently cast include Property Brothers, House Hunters International, Building Off the Grid, and much more.

Keep in mind that the casting application process for each show may vary and each may have a different set of criteria of who they're currently casting. For instance, Property Brothers was recently looking for people located in Las Vegas who have fixer-uppers and a minimum of $90,000 for their home renovation budget. On the other hand, the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition reboot is currently interested in spotlighting deserving families with touching, inspirational stories. This show is different in that it requires a nomination application to be filled out.

Casting notices are updated frequently, so if you don't see your favorite show on the list now, be sure to check back periodically. And, hey, you never know — maybe you could have your big HGTV break soon!
