Banana Berry Peanut Butter Broccoli Smoothie

Ingredients

1 frozen banana
6 frozen strawberries
4 raw broccoli florets
6 ounces vanilla Greek yogurt (or soy yogurt)
1/2 tablespoon smooth peanut butter
1/4 cup cold water

Directions

  1. Add ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately!

try making brocilli like a vegetable with tomato and little garlic with indian spices

I am constantly eating broccoli (it's my favorite veggie!)  I just wish I could find a way to like kale.  A smoothie wouldn't hide the flavor.  Making kale chips didn't work.  How to not make kale taste disgusting, that is my new goal.

 @bluebellknoll yeah, I don't understand why people don't like the taste of vegetables. Even as a kid broccoli was my favorite veggie (still is). Plan cooked with some salt and you're good to go, and it doesn't have 53 g of carbs....

I love green smoothies (especially kale), but I haven't tried broccoli yet.  I think I would substitute a scoop of vanilla whey protein and almond milk for the yogurt to cut down on the sugar.  Thanks for the idea! http://lessonsfromtheendofamarriage.com

Honestly - you can't even taste the broccoli. All you taste is the fruit. I made it again this morning with blueberries instead of strawberries and it was equally delish.
