Revlon's Boldest Makeup Collection Yet is FINALLY Available at Ulta
Update: Prepare to be shook: Revlon's brand-new Electric Shock collection — which includes a gold highlighter that could rival Fenty's Trophy Wife and an eye shadow palette that would have made David Bowie very proud — is finally available at Ulta. Happy shopping.
This story was originally posted on April 23.
Along with being an Instagrammable wonderland for makeup junkies, BeautyCon serves a very important purpose. Brand representatives flock to the weekend-long expo to showcase new and upcoming products, so prepare to want to spend all of your money on Revlon's two new collections.
The affordable brand will release two lines — Electric Shock and Shoot the Moon — which means your local drugstore is about to get a hell of a lot more colorful. Both lineups include a plethora of lip products (from matte bullets to powders, there's truly something for everyone), along with two new highlighters (one of the jelly variety — holler) and a mascara (because who doesn't need a new one of those?).
POPSUGAR reached out to Revlon's reps, who gave us some scoop on this collection. Electric Shock will launch in July exclusively at Ulta, and Shoot the Moon will launch in August. The lip tint and mascara will be available in June. While you patiently await this launch, read on to see everything in action.
Let's Start With the Lips
It looks like there are at least 11 shades of metallic bullet lipsticks. Each one is as colorful as a crayon (check out that mustard yellow in the back!).
Other hot-and-heavy hues involve a fiery coral and classic power red.
Hello, orange lipstick!
This galactic purple option is giving us major Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle lipstick vibes.
Shoot the Moon Lip Glosses
Goth goes glam with these dark, moody hues that have a glossy topcoat so you can nail that dewy makeup trend.
Kiss Cushion Lip Tint
Take a gander at the pillow-soft applicator on this pastel-colored stain.
Lip Powder
These bold pigments are basically like eye shadows for your lips. Layer it over a matte look to add a 3D pop of color, or just slide it over your naked pout to add a sparkling effect to your no-makeup makeup days.
Hi, Highlighter!
One look at this true gold luminizer and we can't stop thinking of Fenty's Trophy Wife. It's a stellar shine worth bathing in.
Along with the champagne gold option, there's a darker highlighter to work on deeper skin tones.
Who Needs a New Mascara?
It looks like a volumizing mascara will also join Revlon's lineup. Summer can't come soon enough!
