Meghan clearly already has a firm grasp of royal etiquette. During her visit to Nottingham back in December, a couple reportedly asked her for a selfie, to which she replied, "We're not allowed to do selfies." Even though the rule has become more relaxed over time, people should refrain from asking the royal family for an autograph or selfie because it is a breech of royal protocol.

6 She's Using Her Platform to Change the Lives of Others

When Meghan marries Harry in May, she will be expected to choose charities to be patron of like the rest of the royal family. Even though Meghan has to wait until the Spring to decide what causes she'll champion, she's already talked about how she plans to "hit the ground running" in support of women's rights. While speaking at the launch of the Royal Foundation Forum in February, Meghan shed light on women's empowerment and voiced her support for campaigns like #MeToo and Time's Up.

At the Royal Foundation Forum in February, Meghan was photographed hugging a journalist. While royal protocol dictates that touching shouldn't go beyond a handshake, the British royal family are no strangers to breaking the rules, especially when emotion takes over.

8 She's Got the "Duchess Slant" Down

Meghan showed off her "duchess slant" when she stepped out with Harry, Prince William, and Kate Middleton at the Royal Foundation Forum in February. The move, in which the knees and ankles are kept together and the legs are slanted to the side to create a flattering silhouette, has become a go-to pose for Kate and it looks like she's passed it on to Meghan.

9 She's Officially Been Baptized Into the Church of England

In March, Meghan was baptized and confirmed in a secret ceremony conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury in the Royal Chapel at London's St. James's Palace. Harry was by her side for the 45-minute service, as well as Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Back in November 2017, Kensington Palace announced that Meghan would be baptized into the Church of England before her wedding as a nod to Queen Elizabeth II, who is the head of the church. Meghan is now able to join Harry at Holy Communion.
