It's a fact of life for every TV viewer: Netflix giveth, and Netflix taketh away. While the streaming giant is constantly adding new titles to its vast library and launching brand new shows to enjoy, there's also the disappointment when your favorite movie leaves Netflix or a great show gets canceled.
In 2019, several longtime favorites and big-name shows will be coming to an end — or already have aired their final episodes. Between surprising cancellations and long-planned series finales, 2019 is already shaping up to be a year of major endings on Netflix. Orange Is the New Black
OITNB hasn't technically been canceled, but it's coming to a planned end after its seventh and final season airs later in 2019.

A Series of Unfortunate Events
After three seasons, Netflix's adaptation of ASOUF came to an end in January. This decision was announced in March 2018, long before the final season aired.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
The final season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was planned in advance and split into two half seasons. The first batch of episodes aired in late 2018, and the last episodes ever dropped in January.

Jessica Jones
As part of the overall ending to Netflix and Disney's partnership, Jessica Jones was canceled in late February. But there's still good news: season three has yet to air, so there will still be one more time to catch Jessica's final adventures on Netflix.

The Punisher
Like fellow Marvel show Jessica Jones, The Punisher was canceled as Netflix's partnership with Disney/Marvel came to an end. Its final season already aired in January; other Marvel shows Daredevil and Iron Fist had already been axed in 2018.

After two seasons, Netflix announced that it had axed the dark comedy from its line-up, which is a huge bummer for fans waiting on resolutions to some of season two's cliffhangers!
