When Does Captain Marvel Come Out?

How Long Do We Have to Wait Until Captain Marvel? Here's the Deal

If you've seen Avengers: Infinity War, then you know how everything plays out with big, purple Thanos, the Infinity Stones, and his plan to destroy half the universe. In the name of keeping this post free of spoilers, we'll stop that one right there. Besides, we're not even here to talk about Infinity War; we're here to talk about the postcredits scene that features a very mysterious symbol.

If you're not up to date with all the heroes in the vast Marvel comics universe, this is the symbol of the one and only Captain Marvel. The moment is a confirmation that the heroine (whom we haven't yet met on screen) will somehow factor into the fight against Thanos when Avengers 4 rolls around. But before Captain Marvel joins the Avengers, she has to make her big debut! That's where the Captain Marvel movie comes in to play.

The good news is that Avengers 4 is only a year away, and Captain Marvel is set to come out before then. Granted, it's not much sooner: the release date for Captain Marvel is March 6, 2019. But hey, it's not that far off, and it's something to look forward to as we process everything that happens in Infinity War. It'll be here before we know it.
