As if we weren't lucky enough to have two Kissing Booth movies, Netflix is blessing us with one last movie following Elle's romantic dilemmas, best-friend drama, and awkward moments. Funny enough, the third movie was announced only a couple days after the sequel was released — and it's already done filming! The cast filmed both movies on location in South Africa, so now all we have to do is wait for it to be released. There's still a lot unknown about the third (and final) Kissing Booth movie. Which college has Elle decided to attend? Will there be another kissing booth and more dancing? Has Elle really moved on from Marco? What Is The Kissing Booth 3 About?

We were left on a major cliffhanger at the end of The Kissing Booth 2. Elle is going back and forth about what college she wants to attend after graduation: Berkeley with her best friend, Lee, or Harvard with her long-distance boyfriend, Noah. And it looks like that decision will be tackled in the third movie, based on this short teaser released by Netflix. The clip gives us a good idea that Elle's dilemma will be a focus of the movie.

When Will The Kissing Booth 3 Come Out?

Fans were initially told The Kissing Booth 3 was coming out sometime in 2021. Luckily, we have more details of when it's being released thanks to star Joey King. When she took the stage at the E! People's Choice Awards in November, she made the exciting announcement that the franchise's third and final movie will be released in summer 2021.

Who Will Be in The Kissing Booth 3?

Good news for Kissing Booth fans — the entire cast is returning for the third movie! Netflix announced the news with a fun video clip featuring all our favorites from the series. Aside from the iconic trio of Joey King, Jacob Elordi, and Joel Courtney, we can also expect to see Meganne Young return as Rachel. Even Taylor Zakhar Perez and Maisie Richardson-Sellers, whose characters caused quite the riff in Elle and Noah's relationship, will be gracing us with their onscreen presences.

The Kissing Booth movies are based on novels written by Beth Reekles. The author announced on her Instagram that a third novel called The Kissing Booth 3: One Last Time will be released around the same time as the third movie. The book is based on the film script, so here's hoping it will give fans the epic conclusion they deserve.

Will This Be the Last Movie of the Series?

Not only has the Kissing Booth author seemingly confirmed the third movie will be the last, but so has director Vince Marcello. He revealed to Variety that the film is a "culmination of this coming of age story" for Elle, Lee, and Noah. It's ultimately a send-off that launches the characters into adulthood, meaning we'll most likely be saying goodbye to the characters for good in The Kissing Booth 3.
