While some shows were canceled without warning, most of the ones on this list are getting a final season to wrap up everything nicely. After 14 years on the air, Keeping Up With the Kardashians is coming to an end in 2021. On Sept. 8, Kim Kardashian announced via her Instagram that the show would be ending with season 20, with season 19 airing in 2020.

In July, Netflix renewed Dead to Me for a third and final season. If the show follows its previous release schedule, with season one being released in May 2019 and season two in May 2020, then we can hope for the third season to be released in May 2021. However, showrunner Liz Feldman told Deadline in July that due to COVID-19, "we're definitely hoping to start [production] at some point in the next six months. Obviously anything can happen . . . we were always going to have a longer writing process for this final season."

The fourth season of Atypical will be its last. Set to air in 2021, the final season will consist of 10 half-hour episodes. "Our fans have been such beautiful, vibrant supporters of this show," showrunner Robia Rashid said in a statement about the show's final season. "Thank you for being so open to Sam's voice and stories, and those of the entire Gardner family. It's my hope that the legacy of Atypical is that more unheard voices continue to be heard and that even after this series ends, we keep telling funny, emotional stories from underrepresented points of view."
