With her long-running Las Vegas residency coming to an end, and new opportunities awaiting, Celine Dion is feeling good. In fact, she's feeling a lot of things: "I feel so powerful and in charge and grounded and happy. I can say more!" The 51-year-old singer recently sat down with Good Morning America's Deborah Roberts to discuss life and parenting since the death of her husband René Angélil in 2016.

"I'm a 'parents.' I'm the big deal!"

Celine and René were married for 21 years before his passing from complications of cancer. Together, they shared three children — 18-year-old René-Charles and 8-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson — and Celine said she's "proud" of their parenting. "The kids are growing and I see them, and I look at them, and I'm like, we've done a great job," she said. Now, however, Celine is learning to go at it alone. She said: "I will never be a dad, but it's like I'm in a double job as a parent. So I'm a 'parents.' I'm the big deal!"

On whether or not she's found love again, Celine coyly replied, "I am in love. You don't see it? Love is not necessarily to marry again." Adding, "When I see a rainbow, when I see a sunset, or a beautiful dance number, I laugh, I cry, I'm in love." Watch her vulnerable interview above.
