Marion Cotillard donned a strapless Vivienne Westwood gown to join Colin Firth at the Chopard lunch as part of the festivities for the Cannes Film Festival today. Marion and Colin celebrated the jewelry brand, which is responsible for creating the festival's Palme d'Or trophy, as well as best actor and actress awards. The celebratory lunch comes at an interesting time for the brand since it was revealed that $1 million worth of Chopard jewels were stolen from a hotel room in Cannes last night. The jewelry was to be loaned as red carpet pieces to the stars at the festival. Many drew comparisons between last night's burglary and the film, The Bling Ring, which coincidentally debuted at the festival yesterday, since the movie is based on the real-life case of teenage burglars who robbed the Hollywood homes of celebrities.

Emily Blunt Brings John to Celebrate Her Premiere With Colin Firth
Emily Blunt and Colin Firth got together on the red carpet in LA last night for the premiere of their film Arthur Newman, which hits theaters in limited release next week. They were joined by their costar Anne Heche, who had her partner, James Tupper, by her side, as well as Emily's man, John Krasinski. The celebration continued with an afterparty, where John and Emily mingled with John's The Office castmate Kate Flannery. John has a little time on his hands to support his wife since he's wrapped filming on the final season of The Office and his next project, Monsters University, doesn't come out until June. He and Emily took advantage of the break to travel to the Caribbean for pal Matt Damon's vow renewal celebration last weekend. They landed at LAX on Wednesday night showing PDA and their fresh-from-vacation tans.
Arthur Newman Trailer: Colin Firth and Emily Blunt Create New Identities
Ever wish you could just leave your old life behind and become someone else? That's exactly what Colin Firth and Emily Blunt decide to do in Arthur Newman. Wallace (Firth), tired of living his own life, fakes his death and assumes a brand-new identity: Arthur Newman, pro golfer. While enjoying his new life, he meets Mike (Blunt), a mysterious woman who is also running from her past. The two hit it off and commence breaking into strangers' houses and trying on their clothes. It's like a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde, with less bank robbery and more giggling and wedding dresses.
It's a little hard to tell from the trailer what genre this film falls into. Is it a golf movie? A drama? A romantic comedy? I'm not sure my curiosity is piqued enough about it, but I'm interested to find out what you think. Arthur Newman premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year and opens in limited release on April 26. Until then, you can watch the trailer after the jump.
Rooney, Freida, and Kristin Party With Colin Firth in Dubai
The Dubai International Film Festival held this year's Oxfam charity gala tonight with major Hollywood names like Rooney Mara, Freida Pinto, Kristin Davis, Colin Firth, and his lovely wife, Livia, all stepping out in their finest formal attire. Rooney stuck with her signature slicked-back locks and opted for a sheer and shimmery look from Calvin Klein. Freida chose a vintage red gown from Valentino, while Kristin kicked up her heels in vintage Dior.
The celebration is a reunion of sorts for Colin and Rooney, two of last year's award season favorites. Rooney earned her first-ever nomination for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and Colin took home the Academy Award for best actor for his role in The King's Speech. He'll likely return to the Oscars this year as it's traditional for the previous winners to take part in the show. We're less than a month away from the kickoff of award season, with both the SAG and Golden Globe nominees announced this week!
Cameron Diaz Joins Colin Firth For a Gambit Good Time
Cameron Diaz, dressed in a sexy black and white design from Stella McCartney, hit the red carpet at tonight's London premiere of Gambit. Prior to the screening, she met up with costars Colin Firth, Alan Rickman, and Tom Courtenay to pose for photos. Cameron's been making the press rounds on behalf of the film in recent days and even landed the December cover of Elle UK. She opened up to the publication about her career, sex, and her forthcoming health and fitness book. Cameron shared why she strives to maintain her sleek frame and what she'd be doing if she wasn't an actress. Colin and Cameron's comedy caper flick hits UK theaters Nov. 19, but no official release date has been set for the States.
Gambit Trailer: Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz Get Involved in an Art Caper
Though Colin Firth usually has the Midas touch when it comes to picking projects, I'm not sure that applies to Gambit, which looks like a wacky mashup of heist movie elements. He stars as Harry Deane, an employee who's grown tired of his filthy-rich boss (played by Alan Rickman), so he schemes against him, attempting to fool him into buying a fake Monet. For this he needs the help of rodeo queen PJ Puznowski (Cameron Diaz) to get his hands on the painting, and predictably, everything seems to go wrong, especially since PJ is looking out for herself (a girl's gotta keep herself in sparkly Western wear, after all).
I can't say that Gambit looks that great from the trailer — Cameron Diaz's Southern accent had me instantly cringing — but that's not to say it doesn't look fun. Firth walks around in his underwear while Rickman swans around his office in pretty much nothing at all, but despite those mildly funny bits (and the fact that it was written by the Coen brothers), the movie still comes off as a generic caper film full of clichés we've seen before. Gambit comes out Nov. 21, but you can watch the trailer and judge for yourself after the jump.

Emily Blunt Takes Style Cues From Colin Firth For a TIFF Premeire
Colin Firth and Emily Blunt teamed up to premiere Arthur Newman at the Toronto International Film Festival last night. Emily stuck around the Canadian city after supporting her friend Ben Affleck at his TIFF premiere of Argo on Friday with her husband, John Krasinski; Ben's wife, Jennifer Garner; and their mutual pals Matt and Luciana Damon. For yesterday's big event, Emily paired Graziela earrings with a dress customized by Colin's wife Livia's Green Carpet Challenge. The white frock is an older number from Tory Burch, updated and made new again for Emily's big evening. Colin and Emily are two of the many celebs who've rolled through Toronto so far — check out all the celebrities at the Toronto International Film Festival during the 2012 celebration.
