24 Celebrities Who Have Gotten Real About Plastic Surgery
Within the last few years, and especially compared to a decade ago, many more celebrities are willing to share their experiences with plastic surgery. For example, Priyanka Chopra opened up about getting a nose job early on in her acting career and the "deep depression" she fell into thereafter. Even more recently, Doja Cat revealed she had gotten liposuction on Twitter, and Martha Stewart, after revealing her cover for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, said she hasn't gotten plastic surgery but that she does get dermal fillers every once in a while. And there's more where that came from.
Thankfully as the years have gone by, the public's perception of plastic surgery has shifted. Since going under the knife isn't solely looked at as an activity for the rich and vain anymore, and rather as a personal choice that anybody should be able to make, celebrities have been a lot more forthcoming about the work they've had done, whether it's breast augmentations, nose jobs, or just a few injectables like Botox or filler here and there.
If you're curious about the plastic and cosmetic treatments some of your favorites celebrities have undergone over the years, keep reading. Everyone from Kylie Jenner to Cardi B have gotten real about the once-taboo topic, including procedures like nose jobs, breast augmentations, and liposuction.

After loads of speculation, Kylie Jenner admitted to getting lip fillers when she was 15 on an episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," explaining that she had always felt insecure about having small lips.
Despite rumors, she maintains that's all she's had done to her face. "People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false," she told Paper in 2019. "I'm terrified! I would never."
However, on a July 2023 episode of "The Kardashians," the star admitted to getting a breast augmentation when she was 19, just before having her first child, Stormi. Ultimately, she said she regrets the decisions, saying "I just wish, obviously, that I never got them done to begin with."

At the time, she paid $800 for the injections in a basement apartment in Queens, New York.
"They don't numb your ass with anything," she said. "It was the craziest pain ever. I felt like I was gonna pass out. I felt a little dizzy. And it leaks for, like, five days."

Jessica Simpson Talks Plastic Surgery
In her memoir, "Open Book," the singer said that she had two tummy tucks against her doctor's orders after giving birth.
"The surgery wasn't for weight loss," she wrote. "I weighed 107 pounds when I planned the surgery. I wanted to get rid of the stretch marks and loose skin left sagging from my back-to-back pregnancies."
Simpson's doctor was concerned about the first surgery because of the toll that her alcohol and pill addiction had taken on her body. She ended up being fine, but she was still unhappy with the "loose skin that hung over my pants," so she scheduled a second tummy tuck after, but this time, she had a few complications.
"I got an infection — colitis — and was vomiting so much I thought I was going to bust my sutures," she said. The singer later admitted that she realized that plastic surgery wasn't a cure-all for what was happening with her mentally: "Really, it's about how you feel emotionally, and I was still just as hard on myself once those stitches were out."

In part two of the reunion, host Andy Cohen decided to let Kardashian address the rumors while asking the siblings a series of different questions.
"Everyone says, 'Oh my gosh, she's had her third face transplant.' I've had one nose job," she said before explaining that, even after all the interviews she's done, Cohen was the first person to ask about it.
"Everyone gets so upset, like, why don't I talk about it?" she said. "No one's ever asked me. You're the first person that's ever asked me in an interview about my nose."

"People think I fully f*cked with my face because of one picture of me as a teenager looking puffy," she said. "I'm pretty sure you don't look the same now as you did at 13, right? I have never used filler. Let's just put an end to that. I have no issue with it, but it's not for me."

People were like 'she's horribly built.' So I went and got breast implants."
The decision to remove them stemmed from years of sickness like fatigue and joint pain, to name a few, which can sometimes happen to patients who have undergone breast augmentation surgery with silicone implants. In 2017, she began to experience severe leg and back pain caused by the silicone from the injections spreading down her leg and damaging her tissue. After many trips to the doctor, "they found fluid sacs behind my implants. My white blood count for the last 5 years has been up and elevated this whole time and fighting something that we didn't know. And as much as I love my implants, my body is fighting them and recognized them as something foreign in my body. I know this is not everybody's case, this is my case and my body."
