Dylan Minnette Has the Perfect Response to the Crazy Success of 13 Reasons Why

13 Reasons Why was released on Netflix on March 31, but it's already seeing crazy amounts of success. The show, which was adapted from Jay Asher's bestselling YA novel, tells the story of Hannah Baker (Katherine Langford), a 17-year-old high school student who commits suicide and leaves behind 13 tapes for people she believes drove her to do so. The show is honest, heartbreaking, and deals with real-life issues head-on, something the cast and producers are very proud of. That includes the show's star Dylan Minnette, whose character Clay Jensen pines after Hannah throughout the entire series.

On Friday, the 20-year-old actor took to Instagram to not only thank his fans for embracing the show so quickly, but to also offer useful information to anyone who may be struggling. He posted a photo of his character sitting on Liberty High School's bleachers with Alex (Miles Heizer), writing, "Overwhelmed by the response to 13 Reasons Why. Thanks to everyone who's been watching and enjoying (and feeling all the feels). I'm more proud of this show, and everyone involved, every day. This is a still from one of my favorite scenes, with @younggoth. I also feel it very necessary to add that if you or anyone you know needs help, please go to 13ReasonsWhy.info for resources and information. I realize that this is a TV show, and it's made for entertainment, but I do hope we can also make an impact on your life for the better, once you're past the binging."
