Truth Hurts, and Sometimes, So Does the Gym: Follow These Lizzo Workout Videos
Baby, how you feelin'? Good as hell, we hope. If not, we're here to tell you that a little exercise and a whole lot of self-love can help with that. Our solution? Workout videos set to Lizzo's music. Some of the routines ahead focus on your booty or abs, but the majority are dance cardio sessions — because how could you not shake it out to her songs? Since all of the videos are also quick hits (the longest is just under six minutes), you can repeat the videos to get more of a workout in. All you need to do is find an open space, show up, and press play. You'll be singing along with your blood pumping and spirit lifted in no time.
"Truth Hurts" by Lizzo Dance Workout From Fitness Marshall
This "Truth Hurts" dance workout looks fun, feisty, and freeing (Caleb from The Fitness Marshall tells you to "brush that boy away"). "Lizzo truly blessed us all with the empowerment anthem of a generation," he told POPSUGAR earlier this year. He's so right.
"Phone" by Lizzo Dance Workout From Fitness Marshall
This "Phone" choreography is fierce and so much fun! Seriously, if you can't find your smile during these three minutes, repeat it again and feel the music — it'll show up.
"Truth Hurts" by Lizzo Ab Workout Routine
We were already fans of of YouTuber Maddie Lymburner's workouts set to great hits like "Bad Guy" by Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road." Maddie (aka, MadFit) will have you doing ab moves such as mountain climbers, Russian twists, and modified bicycles. You'll also get some squats and single-leg tuck-ups in.
"Soulmate" by Lizzo Dance Workout From Fitness Marshall
Be your own soulmate during this Lizzo dance workout from The Fitness Marshall with YouTube vlogger Remi Cruz as a guest backup dancer. The moves are easy to follow and will increase your heart rate before the end of the song.
Lizzo Leg and Booty Workout From 305 Fitness
305 Fitness brings us a leg and booty routine set to a range of Lizzo songs. I tested this out at home and the series of squats and lunges got my quads extremely fired up. Holding the lunges and squats in between the other variations is what really got me. I did it as a burnout at the end of my workout, but you could replay the video a few times and even add weights if you wanted to challenge yourself more.
"Good as Hell" by Lizzo feat. Ariana Grande Dance Workout From Fitness Marshall
Of course we had to include this "Good as Hell" dance cardio workout (the Ariana Grande remix, no less). "I think we could all use a little pick me up," Caleb from The Fitness Marshall recently told POPSUGAR. "As Lizzo says, 'Do your hair toss, check your nails, and celebrate because you feel good as hell!'"
"Fitness" by Lizzo Dance Workout From Fitness Marshall
