If you remember creamy Fudgsicles when you were a kid, here's a healthier version made without high fructose corn syrup or added sugar. Plus you won't find a drop of dairy in these frozen treats.

For an added sweet bonus, these homemade fudgsicles are filled with fresh strawberries — the perfect complement to the chocolatey goodness. And even better news? Each one is under 80 calories.

Vegan Strawberry Fudgsicles

Vegan Fudgsicles With Strawberries

Ingredients

1 cup chocolate soy milk (I used Silk)
1/4 cup raw, unsalted cashews
1 banana
8 strawberries, sliced

Directions

  1. Place all the ingredients except for the strawberries in a blender and mix until smooth.
  1. Fill six large popsicle molds three-quarters full with the chocolate mixture. Add a tablespoon or so of sliced strawberries to each mold and fill with remaining chocolate mix.
  2. Place the sticks in the molds and freeze for several hours or until completely frozen.

Makes six popsicles.
