Starring Marlon Wayans and and Regina Hall, Naked revolves around a guy who can't seem to make it down the aisle to marry the girl of his dreams because he keeps waking up in a hotel elevator. Oh yeah, and he's also naked. It's basically Groundhog Day, but without clothes. We don't get it either.

When a young woman, Abbie, is diagnosed with terminal cancer, she decides to make it her mission to find a new lover for her best friend since childhood and fiancé, Sam. The cast is insanely good, including the beautiful Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Michiel Huisman, but unfortunately, this one can't seem to decide whether it's a black comedy or a tearjerker, so it just ends up being not much of anything.

This sequel to A Christmas Prince follows Amber through her ups and downs of the days leading up to her wedding with Prince Richard, as she learns that being the future Aldovian queen is not all it's cracked up to be. If you believe there's no such thing as too much cheese, then this supercheesy (and utterly implausible) flick is definitely for you. If not, we'd avoid.

In an unexpected teen-movie twist, a high school girl falls not for her male best friend, but for his brother — which goes explicitly against their friendship code. Yes, Joey King is a queen, but this movie is actually straight-up ridiculous (and not really in a good way). Where are Noah's shirts? Why does Elle spend so much time in various states of undress? Why are we getting a sequel?

Gillian Jacobs, Vanessa Bayer, and Phoebe Robinson play three best friends whose trip to Ibiza becomes a game to track down a popular DJ (played by Game of Thrones hottie Richard Madden). Sure, it may embrace every gross-out girl comedy cliché there is, but that doesn't mean it isn't still a good time (with a damn good soundtrack).

Another Christmastime rom-com, this movie stars Vanessa Hudgens in the dual roles of a baker and a duchess who discover their uncanny resemblance and hatch a plan to swap places (because that plot has definitely never been done before). It may not be totally original, but if you don't think "Bring the Snow" is a total bop, then you need to explain yourself.

Starring Shannon Purser from Stranger Things, this movie is about an ambitious but unpopular high schooler who starts exchanging texts with a guy (played by the sexy Noah Centineo) she finds herself falling for — except that he thinks she is Veronica, the most popular girl in school. This movie could be great, if it wasn't for the whole catfishing thing and some of the movie's more problematic jokes.

Before Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's love story became the best modern fairy tale of our time, this feel-good romance (starring Ben Lamb and Rose McIver) gave us the story of an ambitious reporter who goes undercover to get the scoop on Aldovia's playboy prince, only to find herself falling in love instead. Lame? Yes — but still wonderful.

While definitely created by adults who have never once used social media themselves, this millennial flick revolves around a nerdy high school girl named Dani who catches the eye of the hottest guy in school — as well as in competition with the school's Instagram-obsessed mean girl. While totally predicable, Nesta Cooper (who plays Dani) is too charming not to love, and Kate Walsh is fabulous as Dani's hopelessly romantic boss.

Starring The 100's Eliza Taylor, this cheesy rom-com tells the story of an heiress who must deliver a Christmas card to her dad's former partner before she can claim her inheritance, a task that becomes complicated when a freak snowstorm leaves her stranded at an inn with the charming owner. You can probably guess what happens next, but damn, is it still great.

While attending the engagement party of his unrequited crush, Noah (played by Adam DeVine) drowns his sorrows in alcohol and falls asleep in a photo booth, only to discover he has gone back in time three years and given another chance to charm Avery (played by Alexandra Daddario) on the first night they met all over again. It doesn't end up the way you would expect, and there's definitely a cringe factor when you take into account he's essentially manipulating the situation without her knowledge to get her to like him. But, in the end, there's enough heart in the film to land it at this spot on the list.

While we love our light and breezy romantic comedies, Happy Anniversary is a refreshing look at what happens after the meet-cute. Sam and Molly, like many who find themselves in long-term relationships, struggle to accept the idea that love isn't just grand, romantic gestures and passion — it's hard work, tears, and struggle, but still a lot of laughs. Also, Ben Schwartz and Noël Wells — who you may better known as Jean-Ralphio on Parks and Recreation and Rachel on Master of None — are actually perfect together.

Formerly a correspondent on The Daily Show, Jessica Williams stars as a struggling playwright who reels over a bad breakup while falling for a charming divorced app developer. We're all for female leads who know just how awesome they are, and so as soon as Jessica says, "I'm tall, I'm pretty, I'm smart, I'm a cocoa queen," we knew she had us.

When a perfectionist executive gets tired of waiting for her longtime boyfriend to propose, she decides to take back control in her life by getting rid of her greatest asset: her hair. If you're up for a movie where a woman learns to fall in love with herself after falling out of love with a man (rather than simply jumping into a relationship with someone else), then this is your kind of rom-com.

To All the Boys I've Loved Before heartthrob Noah Centineo stars in The Perfect Date as Brooks Rattigan, a high school student trying to raise funds for college by creating a dating app that sells himself as a nonthreatening plus-one for women to bring along to a variety of occasions. Along the way, he starts to fall for one of the girls he goes out with, Lady Bird's Laura Marano, and things start to heat up. It's a perfectly fine movie that does a nice job of canceling out the annoying jealousy trope that usually plagues this genre.

Believe it or not, rom-com protagonists don't have to be under the age of 30 to matter. Robert Redford and Jane Fonda star in this one as a widow and widower who have lived next door to each other for years, but who one day decide to alleviate their shared loneliness by sleeping together — and by "sleeping together," we mean just that: sharing a bed. Needless to say, the platonic element of their relationship doesn't last long.

In a nod to classic romantic comedies, this Netflix original is about two demanding workaholics (played by Lucy Liu and Taye Diggs) who unwittingly bring together their overworked assistants (Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell) as they attempt to play matchmaker with their bosses. Deutch's and Powell's performances are so fun and flirty that they have even been compared to that of rom-com legends Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. Lucky for us, Set It Up is getting a sequel, so we'll get to see even more matchmaking and flirty fun.

Based on the bestselling book by Julie Murphy, this flick follows an outspoken, curvy, Dolly Parton-obsessed teenager named Willowdean (played by Danielle Macdonald) as she navigates life under the rule of her overbearing pageant-queen mother (played by Jennifer Aniston) in a small town Texas. Willowdean decides to regain her confidence by entering the beauty pageant run by her mother, and though her insanely sweet romance with private school student Bo is secondary to the plot, it's still adorable enough to garner Dumplin' a place on this list.

This adorable rom-com follows Alex Truelove, a popular high schooler who is banking on losing his virginity to his girlfriend, Claire, but, in typical high school fashion, nothing goes as planned. Things get a little more complicated when Alex realizes he has a crush on a cute guy from another school. Alex Strangelove is a modern look at the struggle of coming to terms with sexuality in an age where everything is "progressive," and learning that everyone deserves a right to be true to who they are — even if the journey to doing so might be filled with heartbreak, missteps, and plenty of tears.

If you haven't watched this underrated Muslim rom-com yet, then do yourself a favor and watch it this weekend. Ali's Wedding tells the story of the titular Ali, a charismatic and musically-talented son of a cleric who is forced to choose between the woman he loves and the woman he's already been promised to at his father's mosque — while also trying to convince his dad that he's doing well enough in school to become a doctor (spoiler: he's not). You'd never think watching someone's life spiral out of control could be so fun.

This Netflix original is based on the first book in Jenny Han's bestselling series, which follows the story of Lara Jean Covey (played by Lana Condor), a high schooler whose secret love letters to former crushes accidentally get circulated to those boys. Not only does this teen movie refreshingly feature an Asian-American girl as the protagonist, but it also gifted us with our new Netflix crush, Noah Centineo, whose character pretends to be Lara Jean's boyfriend until (spoiler alert!) real feelings develop between the two. The best part: since the book series is a trilogy, we potentially have two sequels coming our way!
