Fourth of July has been one of my favorite holidays since I was a kid. I have wonderful memories of visiting the beach or lake almost every Summer, watching fireworks out over the water, and enjoying a variety of BBQ specialties with my parents, siblings, and friends. It's one of those holidays I look forward to all Summer.
Now that I have a child of my own, finding ways to enjoy the holiday with my husband and son is extremely important to me. Our Independence Day celebrations will probably involve fewer adult beverages, and we'll call it a night a bit earlier than we have in the past, but there are still so many ways to make this holiday extra special for our family.
