From the moment Jenna Dewan graced our screens during Step Up in 2006, we've been obsessed with her toned figure and insane dance moves. Since being able to dance like her was so clearly out of the question, it became our goal to crush it like Jenna in the gym, and we're finally learning exactly how to do that. In a new video on her YouTube channel, the 37-year-old mother shared her five favorite exercise moves to do when she's in a hurry or on the go — because dance cardio is super effective, but it's not always easy without guided instruction.
In the video with beloved trainer Jennifer Johnson, or JJ Dancer, the two get right to work using a resistance band that's about 6 feet long (the shorter the band, the harder the workout). Watch the video above to see how to get ripped like Jenna. These two make working out look like the most exciting dance party, and we're so glad we got the invite.
The moves include: "Jenna squats," arm band extensions, band leg extensions, band leg butt ups, sliding ab straddle ups, and a bonus sliding ab open close cross. JJ said it best, "You gotta twerk to anything."
