Moreno is a fan of the star plank, which is an advanced version of a traditional high plank.
- Start resting on all fours.
- With your palms flat, raise up off of your knees onto your toes. Keep your hands directly below your shoulders and your belly button pulled in to contract your abs.
- Walk your arms and legs out wide to 45-degree angles, reaching as far as you can with your arms while getting your torso as low as possible to the ground without breaking form. This is your star shape.
- Hold this position for 20 seconds, Moreno suggests.
- To modify, you can perform this exercise on your knees.
