Time-Saving Total-Body Tabata Workout

We love Tabata interval workouts. It's four minutes of high-intensity training, alternating between 20 seconds of max training and a 10-second rest for a total of eight rounds. These workouts are fast-paced and fun and burn up tons of calories.

In this workout, we bring you two sets of Tabata, plus a little warmup and cooldown. No equipment is necessary, and we keep track of the timing. So what are you waiting for? Press play and get your sweat on.

This is a great workout for lunch. Only 10 min. But great impact!

Great workout, especially if you're traveling and don't have a lot of room or equipment. I love the Tabata concept! Easy to learn and also like that you incorporate moves that work most of your body at the same time.

I know I'm completely OUT OF SHAPE!!! I loved this work out though because it gave LOTS of encouragement, variety for modification (which I needed to further modify on those grasshopper jumps!) and the acknowledgement that this is only a portion of the "usual", which, for me and my "re-newbie" state, is just fine for me. Thanks for offering an option that is challenging but not impossible for a re-trainer. :-)

I absolutley loved this workout!! these girls can talk thru it because they are IN SHAPE! they are going at a shorter pace to tell you how to do it. i its not enough, speed it up! i did it for the first time while watching and listenin and nailed it. im sore today from it. I'd love to see more! and want to know if this can be done every day?

I am using Safari v 7.0 and I was having a hard time viewing the video without it being all choppy. I tried resizing the browser window in which I was viewing this video and once I made the window as small as the edges of the default video player size, the choppiness when away completely. I don't know if this will work in every browser, but if you're having a hard time getting the videos to play right, try resizing the browser window so it's smaller and then hit the full screen button once the choppiness is gone. Fitsugar does need to fix this glitch because their videos are great otherwise.

The previous comment by Katka is absolutely correct. Tabata is definitely high intensity, no more than 4 minutes total, with 20 seconds of all-out intensity, followed by 10 seconds rest.

I love the workouts but your website is the WORST. I thought it was maybe just my internet connection but I can see I'm not the only person who can't get the videos to play without interruption. It's pointless to try this workout when it's going to buffer so often that it takes 20 minutes! It's only supposed to take 10. I'll be leaving fitsugar in the dust if this isn't addressed soon.

This workout is a great introduction to tabata. I worked so hard in such a short amount of time and I loved it! I felt challenged, but great after finishing. Keep up the great work!

Video always paused to load then time-out 1-2 minutes into playing...Love the workout but hate the pausing. Hope it will improve the next time I visit.

tabata is supposed to be a high-intensity workout.. you talk all through the exercise .. you should be totally breathless..give it 100% not like those girls behind you..
