Britney Spears was all smiles yesterday when she left a rehearsal studio in Thousand Oaks, CA. She's been making frequent stops at various dance studios after it was announced that she will be taking up residency at a casino in Las Vegas this coming Fall. Rumors popped up that Britney will be performing at Planet Hollywood, but there hasn't been an official confirmation just yet. Regardless, she has another big event to look forward to this Summer — the release of her new single, "Ooh La La." A version of the Smurfs 2 song leaked online last week, but Britney claims that it was only a demo. She tweeted on Friday, "I heard an early demo of 'Ooh La La' smurfed its way onto the Internet today. The real version will be on radio and iTunes June 16." Don't forget to vote for Britney in our POPSUGAR 100 bracket — you may even get a chance to win a Victoria Beckham handbag!
Michael Douglas Hits Cannes With "Not So Bad" Kisser Matt Damon
Matt Damon joined up with his Behind the Candelabra costar Michael Douglas to attend a photocall for their new film at the Cannes Film Festival today. The two actors are screening their HBO project in the South of France before it officially hits the small screen on Sunday, May 26. Matt and Michael have been doing quite a bit of press for the biopic, which follows Liberace, played by Michael, and his young lover, played by Matt. Naturally, a story about a gay couple had to involve love scenes, and Michael revealed in a recent interview he wasn't exactly put off by the idea of kissing one of America's best-looking actors. He said, "As far as making out with Matt, it’s not so bad. We rehearsed the scenes. For me, I guess the biggest thrill is, when I first saw it, after a few minutes, I really forget it’s Matt. Matt and Mike, you know? I just forget it’s us."
Matt is in Cannes after wrapping up filming for his upcoming film with George Clooney, The Monuments Men, in Germany. The pair celebrated finishing the film by having a boys weekend at George's Lake Como estate earlier this month.
Brad Pitt: "I Haven't Known Life to Be Any Happier"
Brad Pitt traded his signature all-black wardrobe for a white ensemble to pose for the June/July issue of Esquire, which will debut on newsstands May 31. Brad is embarking on promotional duties for his latest film, World War Z, which hits US theaters next month, but the focus of his Esquire interview fell mainly on the importance of his family. The interview was conducted before the news of Angelina Jolie's preventative double mastectomy was revealed, which Brad did not allude to during the feature, but he did speak candidly about finding happiness in his life and addressed the interesting reason behind why he likes to stay at home. Here's more from Brad Pitt in Esquire:
- On family: "I have a handful of close friends and I have my family and I haven't known life to be any happier. I always thought that if I wanted to do a family, I wanted to do it big. I wanted there to be chaos in the house. There's constant chatter in our house, whether it's giggling or screaming or crying or banging. I love it. I love it. I love it."
- On Angelina: "Angie is the best person"
- On catching flack for his poor recollection skills: "So many people hate me because they think I'm disrespecting them. So I swear to God, I took one year where I just said, This year, I'm just going to cop to it and say to people, 'Okay, where did we meet?' But it just got worse. People were more offended. Every now and then, someone will give me context, and I'll say, 'Thank you for helping me.' But I piss more people off. You get this thing, like, 'You're being egotistical. You're being conceited.' But it's a mystery to me, man. I can't grasp a face and yet I come from such a design/aesthetic point of view. I am going to get it tested. That's why I stay at home."

Exclusive: Beyoncé and Jay-Z Hop On a Yacht in the South of France
Jay-Z and Beyoncé Knowles took a small boat out to a waiting yacht off the coast of France today. The couple was joined by Beyoncé's sister, Solange, and her boyfriend, Alan Ferguson. Their afternoon getaway comes just ahead of Beyoncé's concert in Montpellier, France, tonight. She'll be back on the stage after a day off following her Saturday performance in Milan. Beyoncé's tour may be keeping her busy, but her personal life is also keeping her in the spotlight. Rumors have been swirling for days about Beyoncé being pregnant with her second child, and both she and Jay-Z have commented on the speculation in separate ways.
Jay-Z reportedly shot down the news, responding "It's not true" to a congratulatory email sent by radio host Ebro. Meanwhile, Beyoncé posted and then removed a cryptic message on her Instagram account over the weekend. The quote said, "I can't stop the rumors from starting, and I can't really change peoples minds who believe them, all I can do is sit back and laugh at these low life people who have nothing better to do than talk about me."
Two-Mile Tornado Ravishes Oklahoma City Area — Death Count at 24 Amid Toll Confusion
A two-mile-wide tornado devastated the area around Oklahoma City on Monday afternoon, leaving at least 24 dead. More than 145 people are reported injured, and the death toll is expected to rise. There was initially confusion over the death toll, with a medical examiner reporting that 51 lives were lost, but now a different Oklahoma City medical examiner claims that number was "inaccurate" and the toll is actually around 24.
One farmer told a local station, "It was just like the movie Twister. There were horses and stuff flying around everywhere." This comes after another tornado killed two people in Shawnee, OK, on Sunday. Rescue workers are continuing to sift through the rubble from Monday's storm, which leveled neighborhoods and two elementary schools. The Red Cross is currently helping people in the Midwest, providing shelter, food, and emotional support following the tornado disasters. The Salvation Army is also taking donations. Watch CNN's coverage and a Vine clip of the destruction below.
The Hangover Crew Goofs Around at LA Premiere
It was a wild reunion for the cast of The Hangover at the premiere of the franchise's third installment in LA last night. Bradley Cooper broke from the NYC set of American Hustle to attend the big event alongside Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis. Newly-engaged member of the crew, Justin Bartha, was also on hand for the night of fun. The guys showed love for their costar Ken Jeong and the waiting fans, many of whom Bradley stopped to snap pictures with before heading into the screening. The ladies of the Hangover trilogy, including Heather Graham, Sasha Barrese, Gillian Vigman, and Jamie Chung all hit the red carpet as well to celebrate the film's Friday release. It'll be the first big holiday-weekend Summer movie matchup, since Fast & Furious 6 also hits theaters. If you can't decide which sequel to spend your money on, these pictures of Bradley Cooper looking hot in the Hangover Part III might help!
James Franco Leans on His Ex For Support at the As I Lay Dying Premiere
James Franco hit the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival last night with his ex-girlfriend and current costar Ahna O'Reilly to premiere their new project, As I Lay Dying. The two were joined by costar Tim Blake Nelson as well as Rosario Dawson, who doesn't star in the film but does share a connection with James as they have both worked with Harmony Korine. (James starred in Harmony's most recent film, Spring Breakers, while Rosario made her film debut in 1995's Kids, which Harmony cowrote.) The premiere was a big deal for James, who also directed the movie. We caught up with Ahna earlier this week in Cannes, where she talked about how excited she was that James asked her to take on the female lead after the two had broken up. She said, "I knew James could get any number of actresses to play that role," adding, "I think he did a tremendous job and I'm so proud of it and proud of him."
Ahna also premiered her new project, Fruitvale Station, at Cannes earlier this week — be sure to check out Ahna, James, and all the other celebrities at the Cannes Film Festival!
