Congratulations to all the celebs who've given birth over 40! I gave birth at 41 and 44 after conceiving naturally and I'm now an advocate for women on the journey of motherhood after 40. I've learned that pregnancy after 40 is more common than many people think and there's alot you can do to increase your fertility after 40. Here's a ref page on the pros & cons of motherhood after 40 from our support site: http://achildafter40.com/challenges-benefits-baby-after-40/. And thanks to our fabulous celebrity role model moms over 40 who give us hope!

Your totally right that women have given birth after the age of 40 but it is still very eoncuaraging because even though it is quite normal, a lot of people actually finds it not normal and being 40 and pregnant can be a tough thing for a women

I think the tittle of this article is extremely misleading. most of these ladies have gone down the ivf/surrogate route to achieve their pregnancies. It annoys me when the media try to make it look so easy and glamorous. having a baby in your 40's is of course feasible and possible. and often easy. but not always.

Um y'all are obviously brain dead women have been giving birth after age forty for decades some that come to mind are Audrey Hepburn Gina Rowlands Ursula Andres Katherine Ross Jane Seymour & Emma Thompson all come to mind besides a healthy woman doesn't lose her fertility until menopause in her early 50's anyway but the later you have children the more likely twins are with or without help and there's alwys been twins in hollywood examples are the Rossellini twins Isabella & Isotta born June 18th 1952 The Cole Twins Casey & Timolin born September 26th 1961 The Murphy twins Erin & Diane born June 17th 1964 best known as Tabitha on Bewitched or the Keach twins Johnny & Kristopher born November 30th 1995 so stop making a big deal out of it.
